Maximilian Wagner, founder and winemaker of the Heinz Wagner Sekt brand, has set himself the task of reviving an old family tradition and bringing it into the modern age.
The name "Heinz" comes from his grandmother, Hedwig Heinz, whose family has a long history in winemaking. His great-great-grandfather, Heinrich Heinz, was even a co-founder of the Kallstadt Winegrowers' Association. So, winemaking is in Max Wagner's blood.

The base wines and musts of the Heinz Wagner Sektmanufaktur come from the nearby region of Southern Baden. Thanks to short production routes, the high quality of the sparkling wine can be ensured while maintaining control over the entire process and minimizing CO₂ emissions.
The Heinz Wagner sparkling wine manufacturer focuses on sustainability and innovation: The sparkling wine bottles are printed directly, eliminating the need for paper labels. This measure saves Heinz Wagner up to 20,000 liters of water annually.
